15 Short Lessons on How to Sell Your First $1,500 Live Course (Before You Create Anything or Spend any Money on Tools)

This is a live, 2-Hour Zoom webinar on Thursday, October 31, 2024 between 11am - 1pm US Eastern Time.

The webinar will include a 1-hour lecture followed by a 1-hour live Q&A session to answer any questions you may have.

Spaces are limited, and the webinar will be recorded for those who couldn't attend live.

What is this about?

Cohort-based courses (CBCs) are an incredible business model:

  1. You create a sales page (costs $0 on Gumroad)
  2. People pay you in advance
  3. You decide to move forward if you get critical mass (refund folks if not)
  4. Then you spend money on tools (Zoom, etc.)

A high return on investment (ROI) with almost 0 risk

This short webinar will give you insights and tips on how to presell a CBC yourself.

Who is this for?

This is for creators who are interested in selling their first high-ticket cohort-based course.

Ideally, you should have:

  • Access to an audience (either your own or through someone else who trusts you)
  • Deep knowledge in a particular field (a subject you can sell and teach)
  • Some experience in creating digital products and teaching others via Zoom (or any other collaboration tool)

A Little About Me

My name is Hassan Osman, and I have always been a creator on the side. I've published 22 books on Amazon (110K readers) and 15 courses on Udemy (401K students) while working full-time jobs.

After getting laid off, I decided I wanted to create my first high-ticket flagship product (to teach others how to quickly write nonfiction books on the side). I presold it at $1,497 and got 17 sales for my first cohort. It was a success, and I'm now about to launch access to my third cohort.

I documented every lesson I learned along the way, and I'll share those lessons with you so you can presell your own CBC.

FAQs

Q: I can't attend live, will the webinar be recorded?

A: Yes, the webinar will be recorded and shared with everyone who registers. The recording will be sent either on the same day or the following day at the latest.

Q: Are spaces really limited?

A: Yes. My Zoom license can handle only up to 100 live participants. If more than that sign up, they won't be able to attend the webinar (Zoom will give an error message), so I have to cap the number of attendees.

Q: What tech tools did you use to presell?

A: Here's everything I used to presell and deliver my CBC:

  • Gumroad
  • Canva
  • Google Forms
  • Google Drive
  • Zoom

You don't have to use those exact tools yourself.

Q: Why is it only $20?

Four reasons:

1) I want to provide attendees with at least 10x the value (i.e., my goal is that you get one or more lessons that will be worth at least $200 for you).

2) I want to make this accessible to as many people as possible

3) I'm only looking for serious creators who are interested in this topic (if this was listed for free, few people would actually join)

4) I have limited space due to Zoom's restrictions

Q: Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

A: Yes, you'll get a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you don't find the content helpful, you'll get your money back within 30 days of your purchase. No questions asked.
